Benefit Concert March 18 – Come Join Us!

Dear friends,

I want to share some news with you about Katie and her husband Travis.Katie and Travis headed out for Nashville last May to pursue Travis’ dream of making his mark in music. Things were going really well for them until their world was turned upside down. About a month ago, Travis was diagnosed with Burkett’s Lymphoma, a rare and progressive cancer. They were immediately transported to the City of Hope Hospital in Los Angeles where they are residing while Travis undergoes treatment. Leaving jobs and home behind, they now face an incredible challenge.

I know that all of you loved and enjoyed Katie as you got know her at Zelda’s, and we invite you to join us in helping them get through this difficult time; they are facing huge medical bills in addition to making ends meet along the way. Please keep your eyes on the links from my web page to find out more about Travis’ progress and for dates of upcoming benefits to be held starting on March 18th with a country music extravaganza at the Ponderosa Lounge here in Portland. From 3-7pm, several bands will perform and there will be some incredible silent auction items including a fly fishing trip, a trail ride and so much more!

Heading up this event is Allison Smith, dear friend to Katie and Travis. Katie will be there so it will be a very special occasion. Check their website for all the details!
